This terracotta fountain is so gorgeous, and the moment I saw it I knew it was just the exact thing I needed I needed for my patio. This simple tutorial by Menards on Youtube totally convinced me that I could really do this project. We recently installed a new patio floor surface and have loads of space for some new decor ideas. This fountain will be the perfect relaxing feature that will really bring or little oasis together. We are going to put it in the corner and do an entire plant wall behind it.

Materials:

  • Terracotta pots (not giving a count because this project can be any size you want it to be)
  • Terracotta saucers
  • A fountain pump
  • Plastic Tubing
  • Silicone Sealer
  • Clear Sealer
  • A round file
  • A drill with a 3/8in. masonry bit

Directions:

First, you will need to fill a 5-gallon bucket with water and soak your pots in the water for about one to two hours to soften them enough to drill holes for your hoses and fountain pump cord.

Then, you will just follow the expert instructions to assemble this gorgeous fountain. You can use decorative river rocks and plants, it can be any way you want it to be. This fountain is your creation.

This fountain is so lovely, I cannot wait to make it! I have watched the video over and over again and I am ready to try this. I bought more pots than the video tutorial called for because I am going to make my fountain taller and wider than the original.
