When I found this easy 15-minute sock gnome video tutorial by Miriam’s Crafting Cottage, on YouTube, I could not wait to try this quick and easy project. There is nothing that says Merry Christmas like a cute little gnome, and I always line up my collection of lovely gnomes all along my mantle.

Materials For The 15-Minute Sock Gnome:

  • Old socks
  • Rice
  • Twine
  • Blush
  • Ribbon
  • A pair of scissors
  • Pom-poms (for the tops of the hats)

You begin by filling the sock with rice, then prepping the gnome’s features. You can also add as many Christmas embellishments as you want, you are in the driver’s seat here, and your gnome can look any way you want it to.

Then, you will add the sock hat, the fur beard, and the pom-pom nose.
