My Mom and I love to sew, and since Christmas was coming up, so I wanted to sew her something really special, so I went looking on Youtube for an interesting idea where she could stand her phone while making a sewing project while viewing a YouTube video tutorial. I found this beautiful phone stand pillow video tutorial by Easy To Sew, on YouTube, where I learned that I could make a beautiful phone stand pillow. I also realized that this phone stand can double up as a pincushion as well. This is so important because you completely understand that we seamstresses collect a lot of pins, glass pins plastic round headpins, headpins, etc…  The list goes on and on, so a variety of pincushions makes perfect sense!  This phone stand pillow that I found on Youtube was so gorgeous, I knew my Mom was going to love it. I already had a piece of vintage fabric and some gorgeous antique metallic thread, I bought from an antique fair in New Braunfels, Texas that was perfect for the project. I started by getting my materials together.

Materials For The Phone Stand Pillow Project:

  • Material (according to instructions in the video tutorial, scraps will work)
