We recently moved into a new place that has an outdoor area we are going to turn in into a kitchen area with live entertainment. I was surfing the internet and came across this wonderful video tutorial by The Poultry People on Youtube. This amazing Youtuber uses old pallet boards to make a Jack Daniels themed sign and a terrific drinks cabinet. This project was exactly what we needed for our new outdoor area. The Jack Daniels name brand emblazoned into the rustic recycled pallet wood was really going to provide a lot of down-home country charm.

Materials:

  • A printed Jack Daniels design logo (to glue to pallet wood)
  • One quarter inch router (with a 60 degree V bit to carve out the Jack Daniels logo)
  • 4mm flute bit (to clean it out)
  • Sandpaper
  • A blow torch (to burn out and emphasize the Jack Daniels logo)
  • 2-inch screws
  • Some hinges
  • 2-inch mirror hanging plates
  • Varnish
  • LED lights (optional)
