Hummingbirds are my favorite birds in the whole world! I will never forget my first encounter with a hummingbird. I was sitting on the back porch reading a commemorative Elvis magazine, I had bought from Dollar General, and I was looking right at Elvis’s music room and there were two stained glass peacocks by the piano. At that very moment, a large hummingbird the same color as the peacocks landed on my leg and just stared at the magazine in my lap! Well, I really think the spirit world speaks to us in mysterious ways, that’s all I will say about it. Ever since that day, I have wanted to do all I could to attract more beautiful hummingbirds to my porch. When I found this hummingbird feeder video tutorial by ehullquist on YouTube, I wanted to make one immediately. I drink lots of Perrier so I had plenty of the bottles to make my hummingbird dreams come true.
