One of the first crochet projects that my Grandma taught me to make was the granny square. The granny square was really popular in the Seventies and was used to make the classic afghan blanket, cute halter tops, and gorgeous pillows. The method of making a granny square is really simple, and that is why all of the beginners I know started their first crocheting projects using this very basic pattern. When I saw this gorgeous granny square pillow video tutorial by Lori Holt, on YouTube, I could not wait to add these lovely pillows to my living room.
In this gorgeous granny square pillow video tutorial by Lori Holt, on YouTube, you will learn how to make this awesome granny square pillow idea in a few easy steps. You begin by making your 2 granny squares. These squares can be any size you like, you could even make miniature ones, to use fragrance sachets or pincushions. Whatever size you choose, these lovely pillows are going to look very boho and will make beautiful gifts.
Then, you will attach your granny squares to each other, then stuff with your favorite pillow stuffing. Attach four generously sized pom-poms to each corner and your pillow will be complete.
