Right by where I grew up, there is a body of water called Egret Bay, the Egrets come from far and wide to hang out in and around Egret Bay. I since have moved away from the coast of Texas, and really miss those awesome Egrets. When I found this awesome DIY PVC Egret garden feature by Stephen Wassell, on YouTube, I had to make at least one of these beautiful faux lawn birds. I really think that if you put some of these in your yard in a place where there are numerous Egrets, you would attract many real Egrets to your property. The method of making these beautiful Egrets is very easy, and all you have to have are a few simple materials.

Materials To Make The Garden Egret:

  • PVC pipe
  • A sharpie marker (draw the Egret onto the PVC pipe)
  • A jigsaw
  • Some strong wire (for the legs rebar could work)
  • A hot air paint remover blower
  • A wooden block for the base
  • Some craft paint (or spray paint for the Egret’s features)

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
