I recently made a patchwork doggie and it turned out so cute. I loved it so much, that I went looking for another stuffed animal idea, and I found this DIY fabric monkey video tutorial by Pay It Forward, on YouTube, and I loved it more than the owl I made. This lovely fabric monkey also comes with a free pattern download that is so easy to follow. This is a perfect scrap buster, I am going to make my fabric monkey from velvet scraps, that I found on junk clothing that I got at the thrift store. The little monkey will be so cute in velvet, it reminds me of the Velveteen Rabbit book.
