Like most of you, I am so ready for Fall. The Autumn season is my favorite time of year and I love the homey feeling that Fall decorating gives me. I have been making a lot of thoughtful message signs lately, and I really thought I had all the cute signs I needed until I saw this awesome Dollar Tree reversible easel sign for the yard by In The Event With Karem, on YouTube. This easel sign was perfect for my Fall display in the front yard, and I have a great idea of how to transitioning this sign into a Halloween theme by adding some of my Halloween decorations from last year. even if you do not have extra decorations to make the sign Halloween themed, all you have to do is turn it around and you will have an instant Halloween sign!
Materials For Reversible Easel Sign:
- 2 Halloween Signs (from Dollar Tree)
- 2 permanent black markers (one large tip and one small tip)
- 1 pack of black plastic easel (2 in a pack, from Dollar Tree)
- 2 to 3 containers of spackling paste (from Dollar Tree)
- 4 picture frame hooks (from Dollar Tree)
- Chain (you can also use ribbon or rope)
- Fix-all adhesive (from Dollar Tree)
- Black duct tape (optional)
- Acrylic craft paint (in white, black, and off-white)
- A pair of scissors
- A paintbrush
- A pencil
- A hot glue gun
- Glue sticks
