Excess pins are always a problem in my sewing room, so when I saw this awesome bottle cap pincushion video tutorial by Lisa Capan Quilts, on YouTube, I really knew this idea was going to help me immensely. I just love getting organized, especially when I find a project like these bottle cap pincushions. The pincushions are made from any kind of scrap lids, which I always save. The Ragu spaghetti sauce lid is a perfect size to make a larger pincushion, but a Gatoraid size makes really cute small ones as well.

- Scrap fabric (cut in a circle using the bottle cap as a pattern)
