Our bedside tables can get a little disorganized with glasses, phones, medications, remotes, and reading material.  When I found this very easy bedside organizer video tutorial by Megan Weller, on YouTube, that is made from a simple placemat. This placemat organizer is so easy to make and also very cheap. You only need a few materials, and the method of choice to make it would be the sewing machine, however, this can be easily done with fabric glue, like Liquid Stitch, but your trusty hot glue gun would work as well for this simple project.

Materials For The Diy Bedside Organizer:

  • 2 placemats
  • A ruler
  • A fabric marker
  • Straight pins, (or clamps)
  • A sewing machine, (or you can use any fabric glue or a hot glue gun)
  • Rubber shelf paper
  • A few inches of velcro

Directions:

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
