With all this staying at home, I have been searching Youtube for some simple DIY projects that can be made with everyday materials that most people already have lying around the house that can provide a fun and entertaining craft project without a trip to the craft store. I was so excited when I found this great paper airplane project idea by PPO that described step by step how to make 5 different paper airplanes that could really fly. I really love making all kinds of paper crafts such as origami and also scrapbooking, so I had plenty of paper and I was ready to get started on this paper airplane project immediately. The best paper to use is a colored card stock thick type of paper, which I had plenty of. I chose to make the cute paper airplanes out of the brightest colors of paper I had to cheer everyone up when they came sailing through the house.

Materials:

  • Paper
  • A Pair of Scissors

Directions:

In the video, you will be shown step by step how to fold your paper and fashion it into a stunning aircraft.

When you are finished, the real fun begins when you start sailing them around the house. If you really want to get the family going you can make all kinds of funny sound effects as you sail the planes their way.
