This DIY room heater from Riverside Homestead Life on Youtube is a genius way to keep warm if the electricity is out. It’s super simple to make, inexpensive, and, most of all, effective. Who knows when the electricity goes out? Especially this winter season? Watch the video tutorial below to learn how to make this.

Materials:

  • cooking sheet (or foil or a piece of tile)
  • 3 – 4 bricks
  • a clay pot
  • two small terracotta pots
  • two tea light candles
  • the bottom base of the clay pot

Directions:

Step 1

On a cooking sheet (or a piece of tile), place three to four bricks around the edges to hold the pot. Next, place two terracotta pots in the center, then put tea light candles on each.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
