Kitchen cabinets can easily build up grease from splattered oil and butter while cooking, but they may or may not be visible. Malina on YouTube shows how to get those years of grease off those kitchen cabinets with a few cleaning tips. It’s disgusting to open kitchen cabinets and feel that sticky grease coating. There are many people who avoid cleaning their cabinets or do not recognize how bad the grease builds up. Also, this cleaning tip is a simple way that’s budget-friendly and doesn’t require a bunch of cleaning supplies. The soap does wonder and it scrubs right off too. From my experience, I’ve used regular dish soap with water and it comes off perfectly fine too. The murphy soap is specifically for wooden cabinets so you can skip that soap too.

Supplies:

  • Murphy oil soap (wood cleaner concentrated)
  • 2 sided sponge
  • toothbrush, optional
  • container with water
  • rag or paper towel

Directions:

First, soak your sponge in water, and wring it out. Add the murphy soap right on top of the green side of the sponge.

Next, scrub the kitchen cabinets with the soap and sponge. Also, you can use a toothbrush if you’re afraid of scratching the cabinets too. Plus, it’ll help get into the little crevices and corners if you have them on your cabinets. Then, take a clean rag and wipe everything off.

Also, if you’re worried you removed the wax coating from the cabinet, just apply wax after the cleaning process. Cleaning kitchen cabinets can be a day project if you have a bunch of cabinets, but you’ll feel so much better in the end once everything is clean.
