How to Clean Stinky Kitchen Sink Using Pine Sol

Do you have a kitchen sink that stinks no matter how hard or frequently you try to clean it? Then, the problem must not be the sink but the drain itself, most drains have a plastic or rubber flap that catches the dirt and other materials, and sometimes it is where still water gets stuck into as well. This gunk, dirt, and water buildup becomes a breeding ground for bacteria which then causes the unpleasant smell. It won’t go away by just rinsing, as it needs a stronger solution in order to get rid of the bacteria for good and prevent them from building up. Materials:
- Pine-Sol
- An old toothbrush
- Paper towel
- Rubber or cleaning gloves

Give the sink a quick rinse, then pour Pine-Sol directly into and around the drain, and pour some on the far corner of the sink as well. Dab the toothbrush nicely into the Pine-Sol on the corner of the sink swirling it around until covered by the product, then insert the toothbrush down the drain, and scrub the inside as well as underneath the flap of the drain. Remove the toothbrush, then wipe it down on the paper towel, and repeat scrubbing until you’ve removed most of the stuck dirt and gunk on the drain. Once done scrubbing, rinse it out with water until nice and clean, and you’re done!
