Summertime is always a fun season for your fur babies because they get to play in such nice weather! However, this also means one thing for your pets, fleas. Yet again, it’s time for their nonstop scratching and feeling uncomfortable, and this could lead your pets to get stressed out. It’s a good thing that there are natural remedies that exist which could help ease your pet’s fleas problem, plus, they’re pretty inexpensive too. Just like this DIY natural remedy by Natural Cures on YouTube. Just remember to test this out on your pets for allergic reactions before fully applying this solution to them.

Ingredients:

  • 200 ml or 6.7 ounces of apple cider vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon of sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon of baking soda;
  • 2-3 tablespoons of warm water.

Directions:

Step 1

Prepare a spray bottle, then mix together the vinegar, salt, and baking soda in a mixing cup or bowl before pouring it inside the prepared spray bottle. Pour some warm water into the solution, then shake the spray bottle well until the solution is combined and uniform. Spray this mixture into your pet’s fur making sure to focus and prioritize their ears, legs, and neck.

Step 2

Next, comb through their fur to get rid of the bugs that the spray wasn’t able to reach or rid of. Brushing your pet’s fur is also good for preventing fleas and ticks. Also, it’s very important that you perform an allergy test on your pet before anything else to make sure that you won’t be hurting them. Every pet reacts differently to the solution so make sure to take extra caution.
