Are you tired or getting annoyed by your door’s hinges that make a lot of noise whenever you close or open it? Well, you’re not alone because a lot of households surely experience the same dilemma as you do, I know because I’ve experienced it, too. This kind of problem is very simple almost all of the time, usually, the hinges of your door only need a little application of oil to loosen up the screws which create the noise. You can immediately go to your garage and find a good old WD-40, but what if there’s none available? You wouldn’t want to go through all that trouble just to purchase one when you can use an alternative instead. What’s even better is that this alternative is much cheaper and may already be available in your house, and that is baby oil! Not only does this make things more simple, and solve your problem, but it also smells really good which in turn can make your house smell amazing. Not only did you make your door noise-free but you also have a room freshener at the same time. Thanks to Hacks with Christina on YouTube for this clever cleaning tip.

This cleaning hack is very simple, all you have to do is to grab a microfiber cloth or any cloth that you have available, then pour a generous amount of baby oil, and rub it directly in the back and front of the hinges, you only need 1 application for this, and the squeak is instantly gone. You can also apply as much as needed for more areas that are too noisy in your opinion. That’s pretty much it! You now have a noise-free door, plus, it smells absolutely good, too.
