Squeaky beds are so annoying, so when I found this awesome video tutorial by Fix It With Zim, on YouTube, I was so excited to be able to fix this problem once and for all. Squealy beds can cause sleep loss and can make you feel intimidated about merely moving around and getting comfy at night. The very first thing you will want to do is to remove your mattress and box springs, the problem may be your box springs, so you can figure that out at this step.
Your squeaky bed problem may also be your slats or the corner of your bed frame join. Any number of screws may have come loose and can be easily tightened using a drill with the proper screwdriver drill bit head. You can also squirt a bit of WD40 oil right into the screw holes and the wood joins.
If that doesn’t help your problem may be wood erosion which may be the problem, so you will want to take the side rails off and use some self-adhesive felt strips that can be found at any local hardware store.
