These big weave crochet blankets are fabulous, I was so happy when I found this tutorial on Youtube by Simply Maggie, who shows us how to make this fabulous chunky blanket in just one hour. The blanket is so gorgeous and just the perfect accessory for my new living room. I just bought a new leather sofa, which is lovely, but leather can be a bit masculine and austere, so this blanket is really going to soften things up without looking too frilly. These chunky blankets are also great for curling up with to read a book or to watch a movie while looking stunningly modern.

Materials:

  • Yarn (you need 12 skeins of chunky yarn because you use 3 strands at one time)
  • Scissors

Directions:

Simply Maggie makes this blanket look so easy, her instructions are really clear and simple. Maggie, tells us how to start the stitches and how to keep the tension at just the right amount by showing exactly how to maintain the correct finger position.

Make a chunky blanket with your own two hands

The finished product is really super chunky because Maggie uses three strands of yarn at one time and the effect is gorgeous.

Easy finger crochet a throw blanket

This blanket is not difficult to make and because you use three strands of chunky yarn and the construction really goes quickly. I am definitely going to make a few more to give away as Christmas gifts for a few close friends and family members. I know everyone will love this blanket because it’s so stinking cute.
