Take the duster and go over the top ledge where the transom is, then go down the sides of the window.
Wear your gloves first. Take your fingers and run them along the slats of the blind. Check how thick the dust or the grease is. If it’s just light dust, use your duster. But if there is gunk and it’s hard to remove, take the stain remover spray and some towel. Spray some on the towel, and create a little pocket with your hands like a muppet mouth. Go along the slat of each of the blinds. It does not matter which direction you go. Just make sure to start at the top and work your way to the bottom.
Turn the blinds in an upward fashion, as they go up, take the clean side of the cloth and go up the side. Make sure to do it from the bottom to the top.
Turn the blinds until they’re facing down, then start wiping from top to bottom. This will remove the spots, dust, and gunk.
For maintenance, just do the same steps, but you only need the duster. Take off the handle from the small hook. Skip all the wiping. Turn the blinds in an upward fashion, and dust across the back of the blinds, then the front part.
