Toilet tanks can be quite hard to clean, so I always look for cleaning hacks. Luckily, I found this cleaning method from Andrea Jean Cleaning on Youtube. With this method, cleaning the toilet tank scrub-free is achievable! Watch the video tutorial below to learn and share it with your family or friends.

Materials:

  • 1 cup citric acid

Directions:

Step 1

First, make sure your water is turned off completely, then flush the tank to drain the water. Next, fill up your tank with a bucket of warm water, then dump a cup of citric acid. Once you’ve dumped the citric acid, stir it up and let it sit for an hour.

Step 2

After this, flush the toilet tank completely. Fill it with water and flush it one more time to remove the remaining gunk, then open your water again.
