Materials:

  • Lysol disinfectant spray III (driftwood waters)

Directions:

Step 1

First, turn off the engine of the car. Next, remove the two hinges in the glove compartment to expand it further down so that you can get into the car’s cabin filter. After this, reach out to the cabin filter and set it aside for the meantime. Next, turn on the car’s engine (don’t put your hands inside anymore because the fan is now rotating and it could cause you an accident.) Next, press the lower airflow button in the aircon setting and set all the aircon on high.

Step 2

Spray the Lysol disinfectant on the air vent carefully. (Have your car doors open at this point.) Make sure to do this step also in the other settings to make sure that the odor will completely go away. (Let the spray settle for a couple of minutes before changing the setting.) Make sure to use the whole bottle for this. After finishing the whole bottle, let it sit for a while before turning the car’s engine off.
