Grab a container or mixing bowl, then add 10 ounces of hydrogen peroxide, 3 tablespoons of baking soda, and one to two drops of dish detergent, and mix them all together until well combined and uniform. Pour this mixture into a clean spray bottle slowly to avoid the baking soda from foaming, then spray it on the carpet’s affected area, and leave it for at least an hour or more. You can also use this mixture when your pet has been sprayed by a skunk, simply give them a bath using this cleaning solution to get rid of the smell. Repeat this process as needed until you see the desired result.
