Materials:

  • ¼ cup of Oxiclean
  • 8 cups of water
  • Steel wool, if needed

Ingredients:

Step 1

First, scrape the pan as much as you could just so the solution could seep right in and it will give a higher chance for this method to be effective. Then, you’ll need to put the pan back on the burner. Fill the pan about three-quarters of the way with water or about eight cups. Then, add in the cleaner or a quarter cup of Oxiclean.

Step 2

Whisk or mix the solution together until it is well combined. Let it bring to a boil, keep a close eye on it and make sure not to leave as it will react quite quickly. Once it boils, turn the heat off and put the lid on. After it has cooled down, pour the contents on the sink, then rinse it with clean water. Scrub it with steel wool if needed for final cleanup.
