Believe it or not, there’s actually a correct way to clean your TV screen, and with that, you might want to check this tutorial from Digital Trends on Youtube. This easy and precise tutorial will straight up tell you how to clean your TV screen properly, what products you should avoid, and what products you should buy. Watch the video tutorial down below to learn these helpful tips.
You do not want to use household cleaning products like glass cleaners and all-purpose cleaners. The reason why is that these products contain alcohol, ammonia, and other chemicals that can damage your screen. You should also stay away from wood-based products like paper towels, facial tissue, and toilet paper. The tiny fibers in these products will end up scratching your screen.
You can use microfiber cleaning cloths, distilled water, and a spray bottle.

If your screen is just dusty, then all you have to do is dust it. Use a microfiber cleaning cloth that has some bigger loops in the fabric (it gives more dust retention area.) Start wiping at the top and work your way down and while you’re at it, dust the bezels and the back of the TV.
If you have fingerprints on your TV screen or any form of smudges, fill a small spray bottle with distilled water. Turn off your TV, maybe even unplug it, spray your microfiber cloth with distilled water just until it’s damp, then use a gentle circular motion to get rid of the smudge. After this, go back with a dry cloth and wipe it, making sure everything’s nice and dry.
In a separate spray bottle of water, put a tiny drop of dish detergent. Spray this to a microfiber cloth, and wipe in a gentle circular motion, then come back around with another microfiber cloth dampened with just water, then use a dry spot on your cloth or a separate one to remove all water for a streak-free TV.
