In a large mixing bowl, combine 2/3 cup milk, 2 1/8 tsp honey, 4 tsp melted unsalted butter, 1 1/2 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp yeast. Mix well, then add 2 cups of bread flour. Fold in until no powder is visible. Once the dough is formed, knead it by hand until smooth. After this, transfer it to your working surface and roll and stretch the dough long. Fold one side about 1/3, then overlap the other side. Stretch and fold it one more time. Once done, roll it into a rectangular shape with about 1 cm thickness.
Cut the edges neatly, then divide the dough into nine small squares. Transfer these squares to a parchment paper-lined baking tray. Leave them inside the oven with a tub of hot water beneath the tray and let them ferment until they double in size. After this, brush each top with some beaten egg. Place them in a 350 degrees F oven and bake for 18 to 20 minutes. Brush the top with some milk immediately right after baking. Serve and enjoy!
