Do you love adding hot honey to your dishes? I do! It just makes everything better. You can drizzle it on your pizza, fried chicken, sandwiches, vegetables, or anything you like. It’s sweet, spicy, and a little bit salty. My favorite restaurant has it, and I can’t get enough of it. I used to buy from them all the time until I found this easy 5-minute hot honey recipe by Evolving Table.

Step 2:

Add the red pepper flakes. Adjust the amount depending on your preferred spiciness. Next, add 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until well combined. Let the pepper flakes marinate in the honey for at least 5 minutes or up to 10 minutes. The longer the flakes sit in the honey, the spicier it will get.

Step 3:

You can serve it as is or strain the chili flakes. For straining, place a fine mesh over a glass jar and pour the hot honey. Cover with the lid. You can store it for up to 6 to 8 months in a glass jar at room temperature or serve right away.
