I just love corndogs, so when I found this awesome homemade honey corndogs video recipe tutorial by Natasha’s Kitchen, on YouTube, I could not wait to make them! Corn dogs can have a lot of chemical ingredients, so the idea of making real corndogs from scratch is very attractive, and not hard at all. All you will need to do is to put your favorite hot dogs on sticks and you will dip them in the delicious homemade honey batter, then fry them in your favorite oil. It is wonderful to be in control of all of your own ingredients, that are natural and untainted.

  • 12 hot dogs (you can use turkey dogs, or and healthy hot dog)
  • 12 skewer sticks
  • 1 & 1/2 fine yellow cornmeal
  • 1 & 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 & 3/4 cups of buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • Skewer sticks
