In a large pan over heat, add 1 1/2 cups of milk and 3/4 cup of sugar. Stir until the sugar completely dissolves.
Add 2 cups of coconut into the mixture and mix until well combined.
Pour 1/4 cup of cream into the mixture and mix well. The cream makes the coconut layer creamy and tasty.
Continue cooking the mixture on medium flame until it starts to hold shape.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and let it cool slightly.
Once the mixture is cool enough to touch, form them into bar shapes. Place in the refrigerator for an hour until it sets completely.
Melt the milk chocolate using the double boiler method. Keep stirring until the chocolate melts completely. Once melted, let it cool for a little bit. If the chocolate is too hot, the coconut bars will melt when dipped.
Dip each coconut bar into the melted chocolate and coat them uniformly. Place them on parchment paper and mark 3 lines on each bar using a butter knife.
Refrigerate the bars for at least an hour to let them set completely. Enjoy!
