We all want to put our fingerprint on our home and when we add a personal touch, like she does, it changes our whole surroundings. I can relate to doing things like this because I have done a lot of these and they change the whole look of my patio…for the better!

I’m all about everything bright and colorful, and, although I have beautiful plants there’s nothing better than making the pots they are planted in pop with color. I believe in keeping everything interesting (and colorful).

It’s amazing what you can do with a clay pot and they can literally be an extension of us and what we love. I painted a bright red pot with all types of colorful flowers on them, then I painted a pot white and painted a colorful design on it that has a Mexican Folk Art look. I love Mexican art, by the way. I’ve got pots with leopard print, a large black on with poppies painted on it and if you look real close you can see a bee on one of the flowers. I have lots of plants so I’m still coming up with new and different designs for my clay pots.

It’s so much fun to express ourselves through art! It gives me a great feeling of accomplishment, and if you haven’t done this, you will understand what I’m talking about when you do.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
