DIY kitchen island
Create a kitchen island using three-drawer cabinets as a base, attach them together at the back with wood braces and fill the empty spaces with long and flat wooden pallets or whatever material you want. This way you get tons of extra storage space and have all your kitchen hardware at hand, you can also use this trick for a DIY bookshelf.

DIY cabinet and wall accent
You can add some design to your plain white cabinets by sticking small wooden pieces to give them some accent and texture. You can do this on plain walls too, adding some wooden railings can turn your wall into a DIY shiplap plate rack, this also gives more storage and serves as a beautiful wall decoration.
DIY marble slab
For a new and richer texture for your plain wooden slab, pour epoxy on the top to simulate a marble texture. Add some gray accent paint, spread it roughly with a paintbrush, gently blow the surface with a heat gun, then smudge and spread the gray paint with your hand, let it dry completely before stacking and displaying your decorative pieces on top.
DIY marble low table
For a new and faux high-end low table, all you need is a large pot and a tabletop. Place the tabletop above the pot, then paint the surface white, shake a black spray paint, and point far from the tabletop, it will create rough streaks and random splatter on the table which mimics a marble look.
