Genius Furniture & Baseboard Dust Cleaning Trick

This clever but super effective dust cleaning trick by Andrea Jean Cleaning on YouTube will change your routine when it comes to removing dust and grimes! Materials:

• Bucket
• Warm water
• Downy fabric softener
• Rubber band
• An old cloth or microfiber cloth
• Broom

Directions:

Step 1

Grab a large bucket and fill it with a bit of warm water, just enough to soak a piece of cloth, then add about a tablespoon of Downy fabric softener to the bucket of warm water, and stir it around until well combined. Dump a clean old cloth or a microfiber cloth into the bucket and let it soak for a few seconds. Take the cloth out and wring it to squeeze out the excess water but leave it damp. Wrap the damp cloth at the bottom or brush area of a broom, then gather the ends at the base of the handle, and tie it around securely with a rubber band.

Step 2

Now you can start cleaning every corner of your vent or even your baseboards and furniture, simply hold it with one hand (holding it with two hands exerts too much pressure on the area, just do it gently to catch the dust and grimes better and easier) and swipe along the edges. Clean every nook and cranny of your house, this can also work in hard-to-reach corners such as your ceiling corner or walls, and can even clean the grimes and dirt in your glass doors.
