Instructions:

Step 1:

Make fake “bezel settings.” Cut a thin strip from the soda can, then bend it to a shape you like using something round and thin. You can shape it into a circle, heart, diamond, or any shape you want. Just be creative. Make sure you round the end corners, as they can be quite pointy. Take a tiny piece of tape to close the shape, making sure nothing is overlapping.

Step 2:

Find a solid color on the soda can and cut it out. Once cut, flatten it. Place your shape on the sheet of metal and lie as flat as possible. You can also use different colors of permanent marker and draw on the silver side to create different effects.

If you want to paint them, you can just place them on a silicone surface.

Step 3:

Fill the shapes with hot glue. Make sure to fill the corners. Do not touch the metal as it will be very hot! Use a toothpick instead. Once done, let them cool completely.

Step 4:

Gently cut the metal. Now, you can paint them with nail polish in any color you want. If it comes out with a lot of air bubbles, you can cover them with glitter. If you want to make pendants, you can use a very thin wire or ribbon.
