On a hot sunny day, all we need is a yummy refreshment like this frozen strawberry lemonade slushy by The Domestic Geek. It is refreshing, bright, and delicious! I love ordering slushies from stores, but sometimes they can be really expensive. Making them at home will save you money, and you can adjust the taste however you like. If you are wondering if slushies are the same as smoothies, no, they are not. Slushies are ice-based, not milk-based, like smoothies.
You can make it any flavor you want, not just strawberries. It can be raspberry, mango, cherry, watermelon, or your favorite fruit.

This slushy is the perfect drink this spring and for the summer season. To make it at home, you only need 4 ingredients – ice, frozen strawberries, lemon, and sweetened condensed milk. You can choose any sweetener you like, but the sweetened condensed milk makes your slushies creamy and perfectly sweet. It will probably taste different if you use other sweeteners. Give this a try – I am sure you will love it.
