Ingredients:

  • 1 large potato
  • 1 large carrot
  • handful green onion
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp wheat flour

Directions:

Step 1

To start, wash your potato and carrot, peel off the skin, then grate. Transfer them to a large bowl and season with 1/2 tsp salt. Mix well, then leave for 15 minutes. After this, pour some water, wash it off, then squeeze out as much water as you can. Once done, transfer them to a chopping board and roughly chop them.

Step 2

Transfer them back to a mixing bowl, then add a handful of chopped green onions. Season with 1 1/2 tsp ground black pepper and 1/4 tsp salt. Add two eggs, 3 tbsp cornstarch, and 3 tbsp wheat flour. Mix everything well to combine. After this, form the mixture into balls, then deep fry them in a large pan with cooking oil over medium heat for eight minutes or until golden brown. Serve and enjoy!
