Out of curiosity, I searched online and found this simple recipe. It turns out you have to freeze the ice cream after every step. This will ensure that it won’t melt instantly once you fry it.
You only need four ingredients to make this recipe – ice cream, all-purpose flour, water, and cornflakes. It is very simple and tastes absolutely delicious. The crunchy outer crust is perfect with the smooth and creamy ice cream. I highly suggest you try this recipe at home.

Using a trigger ice cream scoop, scoop out your ice cream and place it on a plate lined with parchment paper. Scoop out as many as you like. Place in the freezer until solid.
In a small bowl, combine all-purpose flour and water to make a thick batter. In a different bowl, add the crushed cornflakes. To crush the cornflakes, just simply place them in a zip lock bag, seal them, and crush them using a rolling pin.
Get the ice cream balls from the freezer, dip them into the batter, then coat with crushed corn flakes. Place in the freezer again until solid.
Add a generous amount of oil into a pot and place over heat. Once hot, add the ice cream ball in hot oil and fry for 10 to 12 seconds. Using a slotted spoon, remove it and place on a plate. Top with whipped cream then drizzle chocolate syrup. Serve immediately. Repeat with the remaining ice cream balls.
