It’s always nice to have good healthy alternatives to wings or other fried meats. These cauliflowers are just that. They are made with minimal ingredients, mostly just cauliflower, flour and some spices. This recipe by Quick Simple & Delicious is absolutely amazing. It has the delicious fried taste of chicken tenders without the meat, a perfect veggie alternative. 

Ingredients:

  • Cauliflower 
  • Salt
  • Garlic Clove 
  • Vinegar 
  • Flour 
  • Black Pepper
  • Paprika
  • Garlic Powder
  • Chopped Coriander or Parsley 
  • Egg
  • Milk 
  • Vegetable Oil

Directions:

Step One

Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized pieces and then wash them off in the sink. Place a pot of water onto the stove and allow it to come to a boil.

Step Two

Place the cauliflower into a pot with salt, garlic and vinegar. Let them cook on a boil for 13-15 minutes, or until tender. 

Step Three

In a separate bowl mix together the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, chopped parsley, egg and milk. This will be the batter you dip the cauliflower into.

Step Four

Dip the cauliflower in the batter and cover it well. Then place it into a frying pan for deep frying. Continue this till you’ve covered all the cauliflower. While you continue to fry the cauliflower bites, be sure to continually flip them to keep from burning. 

Step Five

Once the bites are crispy golden brown, remove them from the oil and place them on a plate to eat!
