When I saw this gorgeous dot-painted wine bottle project by Lydia May, on YouTube, I knew I had to make this gorgeous craft immediately. I had all the materials in my craft room already so there was so stopping me. I just love this kind of project because it doesn’t take a lot of brainpower and the whole creative process is very relaxing and not fussed at all. This bottle will look especially good if you add some battery-operated fairy lights to the inside, so your creation can double up as a lamp.

This project is so cute and easy, it makes a cute gift as well. You could give one of the decorative bottles to a friend if it’s new and full, just make sure and omit the baking stage. The gift recipient can bake it at a later stage.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
