Sangrias are quick, simple, and easy to have a big batch to have at a party or gathering. Since the Fourth of July is coming up soon, this recipe is seasonal and perfect for the summer. Sangrias are super refreshing because of the fresh fruits that are added into this pitcher. Honestly, I thought it was made up of just wine with fruits instead of vodka too. In my opinion, sangrias work best with seasonal berries. This red, white, and blue sangria are packed with seasonal berries. Bird’s Party recipe is a festive sangria recipe because of the added sliced apple stars. I would do pineapple stars to give it a more sweet flavor, which I like. At any other time, just chop the fruits in chunks to the pitcher. This is an affordable and easy cocktail for any summer party.
First, in a big pitcher, combine all of the liquids together.
Next, I would recommend fresh fruits but adding frozen fruits would make it more chilled. Use a cookie cutter to cut any fruit that is able to make a star shape. In this instance, the stars are made out of apples. Let the flavors infuse in the fridge with the fruits overnight before serving chilled.
I love sangrias and they’re so easy to make. I can’t wait to show this recipe to one of my friends who love making sangrias. They’re so easy to drink and serve up on a hot summer day after doing fireworks. This sangria recipe can be made at any time, it doesn’t have to be a Fourth of July occasion.
