My daughter got one of these for Christmas last year and it came from Restoration Hardware. I wanted one until I looked at the price. It was $160! It may not seem like much to you, but I’d rather make it if I can!

I was thrilled when I saw this sewing tutorial on how to make one of these! I couldn’t wait to get to the fabric store the next day. Now I have this beautiful faux fur throw displayed on my sofa in my living room and I cannot tell you how elegant it looks. I love it!

This is the coziest, fluffiest, warmest, thickest, cushiest, cuddliest, blanket ever! Since it is the best blanket in our house my husband I usually fight over it.  Since he is such a gentlemen I am usually the one that ends up with it.   It just dawned on me…how about I make another one and give it to him for his birthday that is just around the corner.

I might just have to make a few of these up for the upcoming holidays! I can’t think of a better gift to give my loved ones. I would be thrilled if I received one of these for a gift, wouldn’t you?

Watch how Laura Coia, with Sew Very Easy, makes this wonderful throw in her step by step tutorial.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
