This video describes a method of sharpening a knife using a sharpening jig and tells you how to use this method effectively, then weighs up its effectiveness. The method he says does not work very well is the one that most people use. You know the one that just about everyone has in their kitchen, that is the long metal cylinder, that the YouTuber describes as a file, and compared to these other methods, does not work well at all.
There is even a DIY that tells you how to make a sharpening wheel in case you don’t have one.
You can really sharpen a knife really quickly using this method.
