Did you know that there is a hack that lets you slice pineapples in the fastest way possible? In only 1 minute or less, you’ll be able to enjoy a perfect sliced pineapple! I never thought this hack by Clean & Delicious on YouTube is possible until I’ve tried it myself. Now, this is the only way I’ve been cutting pineapples. You’ve got to try this hack because it’s tried and tested. Plus, the video tutorial itself is simple and very straightforward. No need for any special tool, just grab your sharp knife and start cutting.

Materials:

  • Sharp knife
  • A whole pineapple
  • Chopping board
  • Clean serving bowl

Directions:

Step 1

Lie the pineapple down on its side and using a nice sharp knife, cut off the top and the bottom of the fruit. Then, stand the pineapple up, slice it straight down the center creating two equal halves. Every pineapple core is too tough to eat and needs to be removed, first, you’ll see the fibers of the core running the opposite direction of the rest of the pineapple, take the edge of the knife and line it up with the edge of the core and slice down and inward.

Step 2

Then, you’re gonna slice each half of the pineapple in half again. Take each quarter and slice it right down the center to get to the skin, rotate the quarter and make half-inch slices all the way down, take the edge of a knife and run it right between the flesh and skin of the pineapple to loosen up all the pieces, place it on a bowl and serve.
