The ingredients you need for this recipe are the same as those for making pancakes. The only difference is the added cornstarch, which makes the consistency thicker, so you can easily create the cobweb shapes. The vanilla extract is optional. You can leave them out if you want to, but they add that subtle vanilla taste to these treats.

Sift the flour, cornstarch, and baking powder in a large bowl.
Add the salt, sugar, and egg. Mix until well combined.
Pour in the milk and mix until smooth using a spatula.
Add the melted butter and vanilla to the mixture. Mix until well combined.
Transfer the mixture to a zip lock bag.
Place a nonstick pan over low heat. Once hot, cut the very tip of one corner of the bag. Make sure it’s small. Drizzle the mixture over the pan to any shape you like. Once the edges are turning brown, use a spatula to get the edges, then roll it. Place on your plate. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
Serve with your favorite sauce. Enjoy!
