How to Make Your Windshield Clear Using Alcohol

Cleaning the exterior of your car isn’t enough, you have to pay attention to the inside, too, because the interior of your car can accumulate just as much buildup and dirt that when overlooked over time, can be pretty hard to remove. Cleaning the inside of your windshield isn’t that difficult and also doesn’t require that much cleaning product, you only need this handy trick by Clean Freak & Germaphobe on YouTube and you can make your windshield sparkling clean and super clear in no time.

Materials:

• 3 microfiber cloth
• Melamine sponge or rubbing alcohol
• Glass cleaner

Directions:

Step 1

Before you start cleaning the windshield, you might want to place a towel or cardboard on your dash to catch any drips or just clean them immediately after a product drips on it to prevent stains. Take a dry microfiber cloth, then wipe the windshield in a circular motion starting from the top to the bottom, flip the rag over to the clean side, and then go over the windshield again.

Step 2

If you’re using a melamine sponge, soak it in water until thoroughly wet, then squeeze out all of the excess water, and start rubbing it over the windshield to pick up any grease or dirt. Do it in a circular motion, then grab a new microfiber cloth, and wipe away any residue left on the windshield.

Step 3

If you don’t have a melamine sponge and want to use rubbing alcohol instead, then apply some alcohol directly to a clean microfiber cloth, and use that to clean any grease and oil on your windshield. Flip the cloth over to the clean side and wipe away any residue, then spray the glass cleaner directly to another clean microfiber cloth, and wipe the windshield with it.
