Cockroaches are bugs that cause a lot of inconvenience to a household, they live in dirty and contaminated places, and this causes them to carry different kinds of diseases. Cockroaches can trigger a person’s allergies and make them sick, so it is best to keep them away from your house. They usually hide in places where they can’t be seen easily such as the drain, holes in the wall, near your washing machine, and more. Thankfully, there is something that you can do to stop them from growing in number, Natural Cures on YouTube is here to give you some helpful tips on how to keep them away for good.
Tip #1: Place protective grates, remove the trash, and keep no leftovers
Putting a protective grate over the drain and cleaning them regularly helps keep them away because they are forced to find somewhere else to hide. Next, make sure to always take out your trash, then try your best to not leave leftovers around your house where cockroaches can swarm them. If you have leftovers, then put them inside food containers with a lid, and store them away nicely.

Tip #2: Use bay leaves, essential oils, or baking soda to repel cockroaches
Sprinkling bay leaves in places where they normally appear will help keep them away because of the plant’s strong smell. The same could be said for certain essential oils, simply pour a few drops of rosemary or eucalyptus essential oil on cotton balls, then leave them around your house, and replace them every few days to keep their smell strong. If you want to use baking soda, simply mix it together with some sugar and it will make an effective cockroach trap. Put them in small containers, then leave them around your house, and let the sugar attract the bugs and the baking soda poison them.
