How to Make Valentine’s Day Topper:
Step 1: The first thing that you have to do is prepare all of the sewing supplies that you will need, then iron them smoothly to remove any wrinkles, and a large heart shape out of the backing, batting, and background fabric.
Step 2: Once that’s done, prepare the little hearts that will go all over the background fabric. There is a template available so you don’t have to worry about drawing them on your own in different sizes. You can download and print that out.
Step 3: Trace your template to the adhesive paper or Heat ‘n Bond, then stick it to the back of the print fabrics for the hearts, and iron them together to fuse. Cut out the shapes, then peel off the backing paper, and iron them down on your heart background fabric to fuse.
Step 4: Next, topstitch around the edges of each heart, then stitch together the background piece, batting fabric, and backing fabric, and then add the binding all around the heart. Watch the full video tutorial for more details.
