This toy puppy is made out of some old pair of socks and you can personalize them however you want, but to learn the basics, here’s a video tutorial by
Step 1
Cut a print sock about 1 inch from the heel, then cut off the cuff, and cut the heel part vertically about ½-1 inch. Turn the piece inside out, then cut 2 small strips of plain sock, and sew them on the straight edges of the sock part that you cut vertically.
Step 2
Shape the top of each into a curve and cut them out, then stitch them close, and turn the piece right side out. Stuff the whole sock, then sew the opening closed, and fill the toe part of the sock as well before sewing it closed.
Step 3
Cut a piece of plain sock into an oval shape, then stitch the edges but don’t pull it yet, and stuff it as you pull gently. Stitch the piece to the head of the puppy for the snout, then embroider the details of the eyes, mouth, and nose as shown in the video.
Step 4
Prepare the ears, then sew it to the head, and embroider the paw details on the feet. Connect the head and body stitching them in place, then prepare the tail, and sew it to the end of the body.
