Ingredients:

  • 80g of chocolate biscuits (or 6 pcs. bourbon biscuits)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter, unsalted
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • pinch of vanilla beans (or 1tsp vanilla essence)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp heavy cream (or double cream/heavy whipping cream)
  • 3.5 oz (100g) dark chocolate
  • 2 Twix bars

Directions:

Step 1

To start, put the biscuits in a food processor and crush them finely. After crushing, reserve 1 spoonful for later. Next, add 2 tbsp melted butter to the processor and mix well. Set aside. In a bowl, add 1 cup of whipping cream, 1 tbsp sugar, and a pinch of vanilla beans. Whisk until stiff peaks form. After whisking, put the mixture in a piping bag, then add 1/2 cup caramel sauce in another piping bag. Next, add 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp heavy cream in a bowl and heat it in the microwave until medium hot. After this, add the chopped 3.5 oz dark chocolate bar. Mix well until smooth. Put this also in a piping bag and let it cool down.

Step 2

Now, get your cups and start layering the ingredients. For the first layer, add the crushed biscuits followed by the vanilla cream, caramel sauce, and chocolate ganache (make sure to even out the ingredients after you add them to the cup.) After this, refrigerate them for an hour. While waiting, get another piping bag with a 1c piping nozzle, then insert the remaining vanilla cream. After one hour, get the cups and decorate the top with the remaining vanilla cream. Finally, add Twix bars and sprinkle some leftover crushed biscuits.
