I love eating dinner rolls and I always make sure that I have them available in my pantry so I can just get some whenever I’m craving bread. What I love about this type of bread is that they go with almost any beverage or soup, plus, dinner rolls are so simple to make, and they are super soft! Recently, I found this version where a simple dinner roll is leveled up by adding a delicious garlic butter taste. Here’s Savor Easy on YouTube to show you how to do it.
Garlic Butter
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, add the all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast, then whisk them together before adding the milk and egg, and then beat them together over low or speed 2 for about 5 minutes. Cover the bowl, then set it aside, and let it rest for about 20 minutes. Now, add the softened butter and minced garlic to the dough, then beat them together for about 5 more minutes or until the dough is smooth and elastic, and then transfer it to a well-oiled bowl.

Step 2
Cover the bowl, then let the dough rise for about an hour or until it doubles in size, and then punch it to degas before transferring it to a clean counter. Using your hands lightly press the dough down until it becomes square, then divide it into 25 pieces evenly, and form each piece into a ball. Cover the dough ball, then let them rest for about 15 minutes, and then grease an 11×11-inch square pan. After 15 minutes, degas each dough ball, then roll them and tuck the edges nicely.
Step 3
Place the dough balls in the greased pan, then cover them, and set them aside for about 30 minutes to rise. Meanwhile, prepare the garlic butter mixture, simply mix together the minced garlic, parsley, and melted butter in a bowl until well combined and uniform. Brush the top of the dough generously, then bake them in a preheated oven at 180°C or 350°F for about 15 to 17 minutes, and place the pan on top of a wire cooling rack. While still warm, brush the top of the bread with the leftover garlic butter, then unmold, serve, and enjoy!
