I’ve tried lots of apple fritter recipes before and of all the versions I’ve made, this one by Yummy on YouTube is my absolute favorite! One thing that I love about this is that it has a thinner batter and even the apples themselves are thin which makes them incredibly crispy.

These apple fritters are so good and you can enjoy them with some powdered sugar, a classic glaze, or as is. This recipe is very easy to make and I’m sure that you can make this perfectly even on the first try. Learn how now by watching the video tutorial below.
Step 1
Wash and clean the apples well, then pat them dry, and cut them crosswise into rounds. Cut out and remove the seeds at the center with a small round cookie cutter or the opening edge of a piping tip. In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, sugar, and baking powder, then whisk them to combine, and add half of the milk. Continue to whisk until combined, then add in the remaining milk, and keep whisking until the batter is smooth.
Step 2
Add the apple rings to the batter one at a time, then make sure to submerge it well, and pick it up with a fork. Deep fry them in batches to not overcrowd the pan, then let them cook until brown and crispy on both sides and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain off the excess oil. Dust them with powdered sugar, then serve, and enjoy!
